Welcome to Reel Expectations, the movie review site that tries to match expectation with reality. If you think about it, most movies can be quite enjoyable, IF you align your expectations reasonably. As an example, there is no good way to compare The Godfather and The Chipmunks in absolute terms. However, they can both be very enjoyable movies for their appropriate audiences within a narrowed set of expectations.
My goal here is to give you a sense of what I expected and what I received in return from current movies. If you have not seen these movies yet, I hope I can offer some guidance. I will not spoil the endings, so fear not. Once you do see them, please let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments sections.
